Even though the neighborhood is very quiet, the house is very close to major amenities and locations like LIFE supermarket and Shibuya Stream/Shibuya Scramble. The house was clean and well appointed, and we could cook and do laundry with ease. All appliances and amenities are new, clean, and well functioning. Also, having two bathrooms in the house is rarity and luxury in Tokyo, and could accommodate our family comfortably. Our son enjoyed playing at the nearby park, and there were many fantastic restaurants within walking distance as well. The streets around the house are quite narrow, so it's a bit difficult for larger cars and taxis to navigate close by, but that's why the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. We were able to to quickly catch and depart from taxes at the nearby 7-eleven and supermarket. The small office in the house was a nice touch, as there was a printer that made working convenient, and the projector in the living room was enjoyed by all and could stream both regular Japanese TV and Netflix/Youtube. The house was extremely comfortable even with how hot Tokyo was this summer, as there were air conditioners in every room. We would definitely return in the future!

Our son especially enjoyed the kid's room which was full of toys and gave us parents some time to get ourselves situated for the day while he was playing safely on his own in the room. Our host also recommended a lot of restaurants which we visited and became our favorite meals of our whole trip. Location of home was right next to a large grocery store and a short walk to Shibuya train station, which we went to everyday. We could really see our family living in Japan- it's such a beautiful country and beautiful people.

The location has Amazon Japan pickup lockers and 7-11 in literally 2 min-walk distance which is super convenient.

The home has a secret base with toys for kids, nice and clean. My son enjoyed every night in it.

Ko is a fantastic host, always responsive. He is also a local expert recommending us a list of restaurants. We tried most of them and there is no miss.

It is a little further than I thought to get to the Shibuya station. We started on foot in the first several days then changed to take 2 stops bus.
