Ko qnd Yuko were fantastic hosts helping secure dinner reservations nearby on New Years Eve and even making suggestions for what to order. Fantastic place to stay in Tokyo.

It is situated in a cute, very quiet and 'local' neighbourhood. Everything you need is there - including a neat little office!. Ko was great - very responsive and he gave us some great recommendations. The only 'but' relates to people who are mobility challenged - it's a 'vertical' house, with relatively steep stairs. Also, it's not that clear on the website but the main bed is actually kind of in the kitchen - you get used to it, but it surprised us initially. The main 'suite' is upstairs, but only has a single bed (Ko told us that he couldn't get the double bed up there!). Certainly not a deal breaker for us - we would return in a heartbeat.

Ko is also a devoted host. He’s quick to answer questions, full of excellent restaurant recommendations, and even helps with reservations. The most amazing gesture came when we asked him to book a taxi to the airport: none were available, so he offered to drive us himself. In nearly 15 years of staying with Airbnb, I’ve never experienced that level of care. Thank you, Ko!

Hosts Junko and Ko are dream hosts! They are attentive, quick to respond, very informed with tips of things to do and places to see! Further, Junko and Ko were very agreeable with special requests like extra pillows, towels and made us feel like we were family members returning home.

Meeting Junko and Ko is like meeting up with long time friends and we felt welcomed as if we are returning to our “home away from home”.

Highly recommend this property!
